1. Use More Natural Light<\/span><\/h3>\n

Allowing natural light to shine into your home has so many benefits. Don\u2019t keep the curtains drawn shut all day; open them up and let sunshine fill your home! With natural light, it isn\u2019t necessary to have your overhead lights or lamps on during the day. The less electricity you use, the lower your energy bill will be. Additionally, natural light is great for your health. Exposure to sunlight throughout the day boosts vitamin D, improves sleep, wards off seasonal depression, and provides you with many more benefits. Go open up those blinds!<\/span><\/p>\n

2. Use LED Light Bulbs<\/span><\/h3>\n

While using natural light throughout the day is more than achievable, it\u2019s just unrealistic to rely on natural light at all times. On dark, stormy days, during the evening and night, or in rooms without windows, we have to use lights to be able to see. However, you can still save energy even while your lights are turned on. It\u2019s as easy as switching to LED light bulbs throughout the house. 3. Turn Off Electronics & Unplug Appliances<\/span><\/h3>\n
