Make sure your home is ready for the changing seasons by following these 5 simple tips for ultimate indoor comfort this fall. We\u2019ll be happy to help with your heating and cooling needs.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<h2><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">1. Change Your Air Filter<\/span><\/h2>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 300;\">Changing your air filter should be done every 1-3 months, depending on your system, and fall is no exception. Dirty filters restrict airflow while also limiting the efficiency of your system. Making sure your filter is clean before turning on the furnace is the first step to having increased system efficiency and ultimate home comfort this fall.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<h2><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">2. Check for Drafts<\/span><\/h2>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 300;\">Checking windows and doors for any drafts is next on your list. This is also important in increasing efficiency and keeping you comfortable. If any cold air is leaking in or out of your home, your system is going to run more than it needs to, which will drive up your energy bills. Ensure warm air stays inside and cold air stays outside by checking all doors and windows and making any necessary adjustments. Weatherstripping is simple to install and may fix any minor drafts you have around your home. These are small fixes that could save you a lot of money.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<h2><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">3. Clean Your Vents<\/span><\/h2>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 300;\">Cleaning and unblocking all registers goes hand in hand with changing your filter. The more regularly you have to change your filter, especially if you have multiple shedding pets, the more regularly you should be cleaning your air vents. Go around with a duster and vacuum cleaner to ensure that all dust is removed from vents and registers. Clean Around The Outdoor Unit<\/span><\/h2>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 300;\">Cleaning your outdoor unit of debris is an imperative step on your checklist, especially in fall.
